COMPANY PROFILE

Toyobo Textile (Malaysia) Sdn.Bhd. (TTM) is one of subsidiary company under Toyobo Co., Ltd. Japan. TTM was originally established in 1974 as Perak Textile Mills Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Kangsar, Perak Darul Ridzuan.

The business is manufacturing and sales of short fiber spun yarn made from cotton, regenerated fiber and synthetic fiber and woven fabric and worsted spun yarn mainly made of fine wool.

Toyobo Co., Ltd. as the parent company of TTM was established in 1914, after the merger of Osaka Boseki (Spinning) Co.,Ltd. as Cotton Spinning Company in 1882 and Mie Boseki (Spinning) Co., Ltd. as Worsted (Wool) Spinning Company founded in 1886. Thereafter Toyobo promoted diversification of business like regenerated / synthetic fiber, film, plastic, biotechnology and many others, mainly for textile business.

TTM can provide customers with both cotton and mixed spun yarn and worsted spun (wool & mixed) yarn. TTM is expert in composite spun yarn with natural and chemical long fiber (called filament) and short fibers. This is a unique company in the world. TTM is Toyobo’s history and manufacturing know-how is as mentioned above , and taking over the “Toyobo Gene“ in 21st century.

In manufacturing, TTM is concentrating on development capabilities, starting with selection of raw materials & unique products not found in other companies. We emphasize promoting relationships with customers, by providing new value to society, the policy to realize an affluent and comfort society.
